Celebrate Pan-Afrikan Sovereignty: Ibrahim Traoré Mural Fundraiser at Abibitumi

Ibrahim Traoré mural fundraiser

The Ibrahim Traoré mural fundraiser is here, and Abibitumi is calling every freedom-loving Afrikan to show up. On Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, at 7pm GMT, Abibitumi.com hosts a powerful online listening party. Hosted by Heru Ofori Atta, this free event brings our global community together with purpose. Furthermore, it raises vital support for the Abibitumi Ɔman Panin Ibrahim Traoré Mural Project. This is not simply a music night. It is a declaration of our collective commitment to Abibifahodie — Black Liberation in action.

Why the Ibrahim Traoré Mural Fundraiser Matters for Pan-Afrikan Liberation

President Ibrahim Traoré stands as a living symbol of Afrikan sovereignty and defiant self-determination. His leadership in Burkina Faso has inspired millions across the Afrikan world. As a result, honoring him through permanent public art carries deep meaning. The mural will stand as an enduring tribute to liberatory Afrikan leadership. Moreover, it signals to our children and community builders that we celebrate our own. Abibitumi — built by Ɔbenfo Ọbádélé Bakari Kambon — has always championed exactly this kind of rooted, unapologetic Pan-Afrikan cultural work. In addition, this project reflects the values of Ma’at that guide everything Abibitumi creates and builds.

This listening party is Blacktastic by design. Participants will enjoy an uplifting evening of music curated to inspire and unite. Heru Ofori Atta brings energy, culture, and communal spirit to every moment of the night. Most importantly, every contribution moves the mural project closer to reality. The event is completely free to attend. However, your generous support during the fundraiser makes all the difference. Together, we fund art that speaks our liberation into permanent, visible existence.

Abibitumi exists to educate, liberate, and elevate Afrikan people globally. Events like this one prove that liberation is both spiritual and material work. Therefore, we invite scholars, students, parents, elders, and community builders to come as they are. Bring your family. Share the link with your community. Most importantly, come ready to give, celebrate, and stand for Afrikan sovereignty. This is our movement. This is our mural. This is Abibifahodie in motion.
