The ÌBÀ Music Festival discussion hosted on the Abibitumi Exclusive Seminar platform gives Afrikan people worldwide direct access to the visionary behind one of the Caribbean’s most powerful cultural experiences. Empress Ajé — known in the arts as Allison Bernard — speaks candidly about purpose, culture, and community. Furthermore, this free online event strips away the surface and goes deep into what the festival truly represents. As a result, attendees leave informed, inspired, and ready to engage.

Born in 2019 at the historic Little Carib Theatre in Woodbrook, Port of Spain, the ÌBÀ Music Festival has grown into a defining cultural force in Trinidad and Tobago. Empress Ajé founded this festival as both a performance artist and a cultural architect. In addition, she has built something that honors ancestral energy while elevating living Afrikan artistry. Most importantly, this is the sixth annual edition — and the momentum is undeniable.
