Authentic Black Pan-Afrikanism has always stood as a beacon of liberation for Afrikan people worldwide. However, in 2016, the African Union made two decisions that exposed a dangerous counterfeit operating in its place. That year, Haiti — a nation born from the most successful Afrikan revolution in history — applied for AU membership and was denied. In that same year, Morocco — a state where an estimated 219,700 people are currently held as عبد ‘Abeed’, a word meaning both “slave” and “Black person” interchangeably — applied and was accepted as a full member. These two decisions did not happen by accident. Furthermore, they demand serious analysis from every Afrikan person who carries liberation in their heart.
Why Authentic Black Pan-Afrikanism Exposes the AU’s 2016 Betrayal
Ɔbenfo Ọbádélé Bakari Kambon, Pan-Afrikan linguist, scholar, and architect of Abibitumi, delivers precisely that analysis in this landmark presentation. He draws on news articles, contemporary data, and historical record to dissect what he rightly names “Fraudulent All-Afrikanism” — a pro-white-Arab, anti-Black ideology masquerading as continental unity. Most importantly, he reminds us that Haiti was mentioned by name at the 1900 Pan-African Conference — the very gathering where the term Pan-Afrikanism was coined. In addition, he grounds every argument in the original, unapologetic vision of Black liberation that our ancestors fought and died to establish. This is not a surface-level conversation. This is Abibifahodie scholarship in its sharpest form.
The presentation spans 17 minutes and 13 seconds across 56 meticulously constructed slides. Therefore, every moment delivers concentrated, actionable knowledge. Ɔbenfo Kambon does not soften his findings to comfort those invested in the counterfeit. He names the ideology clearly. He shows its mechanics plainly. As a result, viewers walk away equipped — not confused, not pacified, but armed with clarity about who authentic Black Pan-Afrikanism serves and who it does not. This is the intellectual weaponry our communities need right now.
Our people cannot afford to follow a Pan-Afrikanism that places white-Arab supremacy above Black dignity. Consequently, we must study, share, and build from the frameworks that Ɔbenfo Kambon continues to forge at Abibitumi. This presentation is essential for scholars, students, community organizers, and every Afrikan who refuses to accept oppression dressed in continental clothing. Watch it. Study it. Return to it. Most importantly, use it. Get your copy now and support the ongoing work of Abibifahodie liberation education.
